1991 Paraclub Zwartberg Belgium Skydive from

(National Park De Meinweg) there is also created my love for nature (Insects photography) and airplanes. As a kid I always had in the woods there, but at some point my curiosity was still very high which still those jets go. There lay at the time a major military air base of RAF (Royal Air Force) in the woods just across the border in Germany. At one point , I then grabbed my bike and got them to follow; I saw them at some point disappear into the woods. I went to look until I stood in the landing and the aircraft was close to my nose. From that moment I was hooked and went back the next day with one more viewer. Again later with a camera and from that time I was every day after school and holiday programs there to watch planes (Plane Spotting).
Over time I learned little by little the aircraft know. It turned out to be RAF base Bruggen with 4 Sqn. in total, at the time 9 Sqn with Jaguars and 14 Sqn , 17 Sqn , 31 Sqn with Tornados.
The Cold War still existed and the whole day (there was usually flown by until about 23:00 H) where aircracfts flying in and out with a lot of visiting aircrafts.
On my 16th I went gliding by VZC (Venlo Gliding Club), I wanted to go skydiving but I needed a signature of my parents because I was a minor, so the deal was gliding, Also fine. I have flown on the models ASK-21 , K-8 , K-7
The
law was changed in the Netherlands that you came of age was reduced
from 21 years to 18 years and that I was just now. So now I was already
going faster than expected Skydiving. My Club was Paraclub Zwartberg
near Genk in Belgium. This sport, I did it for many years and have a
lot of fun, with beautiful jumps out small en bigger airplanes and also
out helicopters and gliders.
The bike was later exchanged for a moped and were
explored more airports, after the bike was it a car and from then
I travel to al the open days around Europe. And so is my love of
travel developed. And I started traveling further and further one of
the best things is that I not only came in the tourist areas but in
many countries and parts where not many tourists are coming.
